DESIGN SERVICES

The Art of Living. Our approach is rooted in designing spaces that bring stillness, ritual, and purpose to the everyday.

At Saints Studio, we believe in creating spaces that honor time, place, and the art of living well.

We design with intention—celebrating stillness and ritual in everyday life—and approach every project as a collaboration that balances creativity with precision. Whether restoring a cherished home or crafting a new build from the ground up, we are guided by a deep respect for materiality, heritage, and the unique stories spaces hold.

Our Approach to Materials & Sustainability

We see every surface, texture, and finish as more than a backdrop—it is a living part of the spaces we inhabit. Our philosophy is simple: choose what endures, what feels honest, and what carries quiet beauty. We work with natural materials that age gracefully, pieces crafted to last, and processes that tread lightly on the earth. The result is an atmosphere that supports daily living—not only in how it looks, but in how it feels, and how gently it leaves its mark on the world.

Living room with beige curtains covering large windows, a round coffee table with books and decorative items, a beige sofa with pillows, a black wall-mounted cabinet with glass door, framed artwork on the wall, and a woven rug on the floor.

We source fabrics with integrity, working with natural fibers such as linen, cotton, wool, jute, sisal, and recycled materials for upholstery, rugs, lampshades, and curtains.

These materials are breathable, biodegradable, and free from synthetic blends—offering both tactile richness and healthier air quality indoors.

Natural & Breathable Textiles

A bedroom with a view of the ocean through a sliding glass door. The bed has a woven headboard, several pillows, and a beige blanket. A wooden bench is at the foot of the bed. Two hanging lamps are on either side of the bed, and there is a small black side table with a pink orchid on it. A rug is on the floor beside the bed.

Our projects often feature linen and cotton bedding, chosen for their softness, breathability, and natural origin. We avoid synthetic fabrics, prioritizing sleep environments that feel calm, clean, and considered.

Conscious Bedding

A modern sitting area with a white round coffee table, a beige patterned fabric lounge chair with black metal frame, a surf-themed book, and a small white cup on the table, against a plain white wall and a patterned rug.

We design with sustainability in mind, sourcing pieces that combine craftsmanship with lower environmental impact. Our preferred options include FSC-certified wood, vintage and antique furnishings, and reclaimed materials. Each piece adds texture and soul, while reducing reliance on new resources.

Responsible Furniture Selections

We advocate for paints and finishes that are as gentle as they are beautiful. Limewash paint, made from clay and natural minerals, is a favorite for its matte texture, subtle movement, and non-toxic formulation.

Low-Impact Finishes

Decorative elements are never an afterthought. We often incorporate ceramics, handcrafted objects, and textile art—items that celebrate materiality, process, and personal expression. These pieces bring depth, warmth, and a human touch to every space.
